- 10m leather (just a light strop)
- A 1/2
- Blade has a "Carbonitride Titanium" coating, which the manufacturer claims makes it "10x harder". Anyway, my intent was to match the original bevel, but at 25 deg. I was still hitting near the shoulder, so decided to stop at 25. Blade came out sharp, but would probably benefit from a lower angle. 2/16/13 EDIT: I resharpened this knife, and when I set the bevel, it matched at 21 deg. I don't know why the difference from the previous 25 deg. but thought I'd document the difference.
