Wicked Edge Precision Sharpener Model WE100

The new Generation 2 models arrived on July 1. There are some excellent upgrades on the new models including:

• a stainless steel insert in the fixed vise jaw to allow for more positive clamping power
• a taller free vise jaw for more positive clamping power
• graduated detents along the base rod corresponding to the degree markings for more precise angle setting and to prevent accidental slippage
• new packaging with stronger box and storage for kit and stones

• 8 Diamond Stones, 2 each in 100, 200, 400 and 600 grits
  
• Alignment Tools for precision mounting
  
• Knife Brace for sharpening flexible blades

Minimum Angle: 15 degrees per side are the lowest markings on the sharpener

*the markings are placed on the Base Rod are based on knives that extend .625" above the top of the vise jaws - moving the collars all the way in with a knife of this size allows for a minimum angle of 13 degrees
**wider knives can be sharpened at even lower angles
***a new accessory will be available this year allowing sharpening down to just above 0 degrees

Maximum Angle: 30 degrees per side
