In case you hadn't seen it before, there is a section under the Resources tab called 'Downloads' with instruction manuals and other useful things. Here is a new item submitted by Derek Williams: Knife Log for Professional Sharpeners. It's a great spreadsheet for tracking the knives that are sent in and for recording your sharpening data for future sessions. Thank you Derek for putting this together and making it available for the community!

I had a chance to look at the Knife Log Derek submitted and it's pretty nice. The front page lets you record the WE settings and a comment, but then each entry gets it own page to add additional comments to, with your first comment already there. So, you have a quick uncluttered reference for your settings you could print and keep handy if you wanted, but then a place for details of what you're doing.

Great way to track what you're doing, especially if you're testing different finishes, angles, etc.

There's also another log submitted by Keith... this one appears geared for recording sharpenings if you're doing it as a business.
