This post refers to an early one on the topic of keeping the screws on the angle adjustment arms tight so the arms don't move while sharpening. This is particularly irritating when the collars are reversed for more accuracy and the detente dimples are not there to help firmly secure the screws. Purple Loctite was suggested to keep the screws in place...there are two types of Purple Loctite and the correct one for small screws less than .25 inches in diameter is Purple Loctite 222MS. Again, it can be obtained from your local Fastenal dealer or on Amazon.com.
