That is a really beautiful knife and it deserves the wonderful polished edge you gave it. It is good to see the WEPS deliver as advertised. But it is not just your new rig that is responsible for that mirror bevel...your skill is already at a high level to achieve that Don. Great work mate!

All the best

Thanks guys but honestly if I can do it so can anyone - all it takes is some practice and getting the stones broken in. Once you start really working those stones and strops you can get this finish every time!

One of our moldmakers who put mirror polishes on microscopic sections of a core or cavity, always said that the more time you spend on the grit before this one, the less you have to use this one, and the more you use this one, the less you will have to use the next. It was the kind of advice saying, if you want good results, would you rather spend time doing it efficiently, or spend 4x the time doing it by going up a grit too soon?

Is it possible to order blank stone holders; without stone, leather or balsa?
