I wanted to try my photography skills out here on the forum, but I see it could use some help!
Just got a couple of new Striders for my collection and thought I would share.
SMF XL's. A beast of a knife for a folder, really solid. Suprisingly they came hair shaving sharp at 22.5 deg. grind angle, but I think they're ready for the WEPS for a little symmetry correction.
The Benchmade Rukus 610 is a recent pick up.

Thanks a bunch Clay. I sent it off to you today. It should be there by the end of the week.
I appreciate the help. Now I know it will come back with a Wicked Edge!

Hello gentlemen. Ralph here, and new to the forum. I'm 48, married, 3 kids, and live in the greater KC area.
Work as a manager in the service department for an auto repair facility. Long time GM auto worker with the UAW / USWA.

I recently retired an old Buck 422 that I carried for years and have replaced it with a new Gerber 06 (made in USA of course) I really like the feel and operation of the knife, but the edge is for crap. The factory grind is rough and asymetrical. Quite the norm for a factory blade these days from what I've been reading.
I must have watched Clay's videos a dozen times now and I'm wondering where I can get my Gerber sharpened to a wicked edge? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
