Authors Comments:Chisel Ground Tanto. I focused on the primary side nocking the burr off the back side down to 400 grit. After 400 grit I sharpened all the way down to 3.5 micron leather strops. Holds a great edge for a long time under normal daily use.

Bark River Bravo 1 4.250 inches .215 inches A-2 tool steel 59 17 degrees ceramics and strops with 5 and 3.5 micron pastes, I do a lot of stropping with green paste day to day and so I get a convexing to this edge over time top B-5 survival/bushcraft/tactical
 
Authors Comments:LJM it originally came with a zero degree convex edge which I found was a bit too fine and subject to chipping and rolling; I love the 17 degree angle razor sharp and tough
