Bark River Bravo 1 4.250 inches .215 inches A-2 tool steel 59 17 degrees ceramics and strops with 5 and 3.5 micron pastes, I do a lot of stropping with green paste day to day and so I get a convexing to this edge over time top B-5 survival/bushcraft/tactical

Authors Comments:LJM it originally came with a zero degree convex edge which I found was a bit too fine and subject to chipping and rolling; I love the 17 degree angle razor sharp and tough

Kershaw Blur 3.3125" .125" ZDP-189 64HRC 17 1um Bottom. A.5 EDC (Every day carry)

Authors Comments:After several months of experimenting, I've settled on 17 degrees for this knife. It gives great performance and holds its edge well. I keep it pretty polished for show and sometimes it's a little too smooth for the work it does so I might put a slightly toothy, almost invisible micro-bevel on it.

Cold Steel Black Sable 4" .125" San Mai III 58 HRC 18 primary bevel, 19 degree micro bevel 1600# Top B.5 EDC

Authors Comments:I originally created the bevels at 18 degrees and polished them to .5 microns before adding a micro-bevel at 19 degrees with the 1600# ceramic stones to give a mirrored bevel and slightly reduced shoulder while making the actual edge a little wider and giving it some micro teeth.
