Authors Comments:
This has been a controversial knife. The model 1 in some cases had weaknesses but luckily for me my cop was fine. A very sturdy knife with a D-2 tool steel blade that sharpens up incredibly and retains the edge well. It is one of my EDC knives.

Authors Comments:
Fred Perrin is an ex-special forces France knife designer and he has made a scary little knife here. It is full flat ground, so needs special attention when mounting. I use chamois to fill the voids.

This is my favourite EDC knife. It is pretty and it is sharp in the extreme. I give this knife a five out of five for looks, usefullness and strength.

Authors Comments:
Chisel Ground Tanto. I focused on the primary side nocking the burr off the back side down to 400 grit. After 400 grit I sharpened all the way down to 3.5 micron leather strops. Holds a great edge for a long time under normal daily use.

Butted to handle
EDC
Authors Comments:
Not a lot of blade here. Butted blade up against handle in vise. Tried to clamp with edge basically parallel and used upper holes. Factory bevels not quite equal on both sides, so started with 1000 and worked up thru ceramics in order.
