Gentleman's knife/hunter too, cuts like a laser
Authors Comments:
This is a sturdy knife meant as an EDC for use at the dining room table, kitchen or campsite. One could use it for dressing game but the cleaning would be difficult. L.J.M.

Authors Comments:
The steel is not spectacular and while I'd like to go lower, it only really holds up at 20 degrees and up. I like to keep it fairly polished since I mostly push-cut with it. -Clay Allison

Authors Comments:
Had a rough 17-18 deg. edge on it... Lightly used the 1000g diamond to clean up the edge, then finished by going thru ceramics to the .625m. Came out very sharp, with a nice little bite to it.

The cosmetic jimping on the spine makes a great reference point on the depth key pins

Authors Comments:
1st time w/ M390 steel. Slightly lowered factory bevel and cleaned up the edge (came with a very rough finish). See how it holds up at this angle.

Authors Comments:
This has been a controversial knife. The model 1 in some cases had weaknesses but luckily for me my cop was fine. A very sturdy knife with a D-2 tool steel blade that sharpens up incredibly and retains the edge well. It is one of my EDC knives.

Authors Comments:
Fred Perrin is an ex-special forces France knife designer and he has made a scary little knife here. It is full flat ground, so needs special attention when mounting. I use chamois to fill the voids.
