We are excited to announce we will be upgrading our website! The changeover will take place on Thursday June 13th starting at 1 am PST – 4 am EST the site migration will take about 30 minutes, the forum migration will take a little longer. We will update this message with the progression. Thank you, ~The Wicked Edge Website Team
I put this cornucopia up because as a 'horn of plenty' it symbolizes just how grateful I feel toward the entire Wicked Edge community. The support and enthusiasm of everyone involved with our product is humbling and inspiring and so plentiful! We have the coolest customers and crew and it is, in some ways, a dream business because I get to work on something about which I'm very passionate and with and among some of the greatest, kindest people in the world. Sure there are hardships and tough lessons to learn, but the people involved at all levels make the challenges bearable and we keep learning and growing, thanks to so much support and kindness.
We're a very family focused business and will be closing for the long weekend, beginning at 1pm MST and re-opening on Monday, November 26. If you have questions or need help, please feel free to email and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible. If you need something urgently, please let us know and we'll do what we can to hurry our response over the weekend. If you're shopping for Christmas gifts and would like to place your order as early as possible, please order through the website and we'll follow up with you early next week.
I wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving!

Knife Sharpening Studies on the Wicked Edge Forum
Lately this is my favorite image. While not pretty, it shows something really interesting: On the right hand side is a bevel that is polished so smoothly that even at 2000x magnification, it's almost free of any marks. On the left are a series of scratches made by the 400 grit diamond plates. What's interesting, and exciting, is that we can get such a tremendous polish and that we can really see in fine detail the effects of what we're doing. There is a very nice write up of this knife sharpening study here on the Wicked Edge forum: Knife Sharpening Study. In addition to this sharpening study, there are many others sprinkled throughout the forum along with many, many posts about peoples' knife sharpening experiences. If you have a chance, please do drop by the forum and register. It's an absolute wealth of knowledge about knife sharpening.
